About Willow
My name is Willow Aislinn. Willow by Water is my practice that flowed from my own relationship with water and need to create a relationship to myself. My wish is to create a safe space for others to slow down and connect to themselves.
I’m drawn to the subtlety of Craniosacral Therapy — the places where the body speaks softly, and where there is space to listen. For me, this work is about presence, connection, and trusting the wisdom of the body. My hope is that each person who comes to Willow by Water leaves feeling a little more at home within themselves.
My work has grown from a deep curiosity about the body and a belief that there are many layers to our experience—physical, emotional, relational and spiritual. I’m particularly drawn to supporting people through times of transition: pregnancy, birth and postpartum, changes in identity, grief and loss, and those quieter moments when life asks us to slow down and find our way back to ourselves.
My own health journey was an important part of discovering Craniosacral therapy. It gave me a deeper appreciation for the wisdom and sensitivity of the body, and for the value of having a space where we don't have to rush towards fixing or changing anything. Instead, we can become curious about what is present and allow space for the body and mind to settle.
My approach
I take an expansive approach to working with the body. My training and experience have given me a broad perspective that brings together anatomy and physiology, pregnancy and postpartum care, yoga, bodywork, herbal traditions and end-of-life support.
Alongside the physical body, I’m interested in the inner landscape we each carry. My approach is informed by an Internal Family Systems perspective, as well as spiritual and embodied ways of understanding ourselves.
This doesn't mean that every session looks the same. I meet each person as an individual, listening to what is happening for you and allowing the session to unfold according to what you need on the day.
I find myself working mostly with people who are moving through major life transitions—times when something is changing, ending or beginning, and when having a grounded, compassionate space can be valuable.
A space to arrive
Ultimately, my practice is about creating a space where you can slow down and be met with warmth and without judgement.
Whether you are navigating a significant transition, preparing for or recovering from birth, moving through grief or simply feeling the need for some time and attention for yourself, you are welcome here.
There is nothing you need to perform or achieve during a session. We begin where you are.
My practice is based on the small car-free island of Tranholmen nestled between Lidingö and Danderyd. This island is therapeutic in itself.
If you are interested in what I have to offer, please make an appointment and we can arrange a free 15 minute chat to see how I may support you.
